Aldo Ray
Wilson, Jr.
January 30, 1983 – January 7, 2026
It is with profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mr. Aldo Ray Wilson, Jr. , 42, of Tallahassee, Florida, who peacefully transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
A Celebration of Life honoring the memory of Mr. Aldo Ray Wilson, Jr., will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Truth Gatherers Dream Center, 1317 High Road, Tallahassee, FL 32304.
Aldo Ray Wilson, Jr. , was the oldest son of Aldo Ray Wilson, Sr., and Sharon Taylor Sharpe. He was born in Tallahassee, Florida on January 30, 1983.
"A.D." or "Junior/Jr.", as Aldo was lovingly called, grew up in Tallahassee where he attended public school. He graduated in 2002 from the historic Leon High School. Following graduation, he attended North Florida Cosmetology School where he attained his certification as a barber. Barbering was not just his profession; it was also one of his hobbies. He also enjoyed music and performing comically while impersonating other people's voices, which he could do to precision. "A.D." loved music and was a die-hard FSU Seminole fan.
Aldo's Christian Walk began at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church #2 in Crawfordville when he was a young teenager. Most recently, he was a member of Truth Gatherers Dream Center in Tallahassee.
On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, following a gallant battle with a myriad of illnesses, "A.D." went Home to be with the Lord. His love and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of his devoted wife: Sarah K. Wilson; sons: DiLonzo (Bree) Wilson, Kylan Wilson and Kaleb Wilson; daughters: Sha'Neace Wilson, Paiton McClees and Gia Wilson; father: Aldo Ray Wilson, Sr; mother: Sharon Taylor Sharpe; siblings: Tony Wilson, Sherika Wilson, Ashley Wilson and Lakenthia Wilson; godmothers: Tessie Jackson, Rev. Dr. Melissa V. Leon and Minister Brenda Howard and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
It is our profound honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Wilson and to serve the Wilson Family.
