Alfred "Al" Wesley Thurman, 68, of Tallahassee passed on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950), with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at Tillman's. A Panama City native, Al had been the Master Pizza Chef at Barnaby's Family Inn for over 30 years. He was known for dressing and always wearing a hat to accent his wardrobe. Cherishing beautiful memories are his daughter, Kimberly Thicklin (Keith) Johnson; son, Patrick Thurman; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Duncan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
