It is with loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Mr. Andre Jackson , age 56, of Tallahassee, Florida, who departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950) .

ANDRE PATRICE JACKSON was born December 31, 1969, to Theresa Harris Jenkins and Galvester Jackson in Havana, Florida. He was the oldest of five children. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Roderick Jenkins.

Andre spent his first few years in Havana before his mother moved to Tallahassee, Florida, where he was educated in the Leon County School System. Andre was skilled in many different labor jobs, especially in heavy equipment operation. Andre also lovingly cared for his mother, Theresa, with his sister, Simone's assistance, when their mother's health declined with liver disease. He would help his mother with everyday chores while she battled with liver disease.

Andre was a very loving father, especially to his eldest daughter, Chiquila. They adored each other. He also loved his other children and grandchildren and was always there for his nieces and nephews.

Early Saturday morning, March 21, 2026, God saw that Andre was tired and was ready to rest. He stretched out his hands and Andre took his hand and went on Home to rest in Heaven with his parents and younger brother.

Left to cherish Andre's memories are his children: Chiquila Jackson, Andre C. Jackson and Javaris M. Jackson; five grandchildren; siblings: Quentin Jackson, Delphoncon Jenkins, Vshernay S. Barron, Danielle Jackson and Galvester Jackson, Jr., all of Tallahassee, FL; seven aunts; twelve uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Jackson and to serve the Jackson Family.
