It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Annie Carloetta Reese Serrano, 81, of Monticello, Florida, who departed this earthly life on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
Viewing-visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO CHAPEL (850-997-5553).
Funeral Services will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2026, in the Tillman of Monticello Chapel following the visitation.
The interment will be 12:00 p.m., July 17, 2026, in the Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32311.

Annie Carloetta Reese Serrano
Annie Carloetta Reese Serrano was the beloved daughter of Alfonzo and Annie Reese. She was born in Monticello, Florida on November 6, 1944. Both of her parents; brother: Floyd Edwards; and sister: Ollie Mae Proctor, all preceded her to Glory.
Annie spent her early years in Miami, Florida. She was employed with NAPA Auto Parts where she retired and started driving for Metro Dade Buses.
Annie married the love of her life, Jimmy Serrano. Annie was blessed to have one daughter, Patricia Reese, who also preceded her to Glory. Annie was a faithful member of New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Monticello, Florida.
On Thursday, July 2, 2026, Annie Carloetta Reese Serrano was summoned by God Almighty for her eternal rest. She leaves to treasure her love and memory, her loving brother: Robert Kirksey of Monticello, FL; sister: Shirley Mae Arvidson of New Mexico; two loving grandchildren: Waymon Reese and Crystal Reese; two special great-grandchildren: Kayden Reese and Jayden Reese, all of Monticello, FL; and a host of other relatives and loving friends
It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Serrano and to serve the Serrano family.
