Antonio Dewayne Smith, 45, aka "Tonio" of Orlando passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at New Mt. Zion AME Church, Tallahassee, with burial in Concord Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). "Tonio" was a star athlete at Rickards High School, Class of 1996. He attended FSU on a Track and Field Scholarship and worked an array of jobs over the years. His love and legacy will be cherished forever by his father, Truman "Yogi" Smith; sisters: Teresa Henry (Lester) Gaskins, Tineka (Haney) Wilson and Latoya Smith; brothers: Kelvin Henry, Jr., Alfred (Tameka) Hunter and Michael Smith; grandmothers: Mary Hunter and Martha Powell; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. His mother, Catherine O'Neal Hunter, preceded him in death.
