It is with earthly sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Avery Juan Chambers, 51, of Tallahassee, Florida, who departed this earthly life on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Viewing-visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950).

Funeral Services are 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church #2, 8 Spring Creek Hwy, Crawfordville, FL 32327, with the interment to follow in St. Peters Cemetery, 8422 Wakulla Springs Road, Tallahassee, FL 32305.

Avery Juan Chambers was born in Tallahassee, Florida on July 26, 1974. He was the son of Oliver Bryant and Dorothy E. Moore. His father and brothers, Robert Lee Chambers, Jr. and Oliver Bryant, all preceded him to Glory.

Avery attended Rickards High School for two years and then decided to go to Job Corp in Kentucky. He received his GED and two certifications, one in plumbing and the other in masonry.

Avery grew up in Woodville. He was well-known for being a barber, a master of grilling in his own way and a big help to neighbors and friends. Avery worked as a plumber apprentice with Jim Bennett Plumbing for a few years. and then later became employed with Leon County Public Works for a few years. His last job that he found joy in, even though hard work, he became a packer with Allied Van Moving.

Avery enjoyed listening to all types of music, but two of his favorite artists were Jam Pony and Tupac. He also enjoyed eating seafood and of course, the food he's grilling (burning) at the time. Two fun facts: Avery believed in keeping his teeth pearly white and he had a foot fetish for females with pretty toes and red polish (smile), I love you brother.

On Saturday morning, June 6, 2026, God relieved and healed Brother Avery Juan Chambers from his pain and suffering. His smile and loving heart will be with us forever. Avery leaves behind two sons: Raheem M. Trumpet and Zachery L. Chambers; mother: Dorothy E. Moore; stepmother: Brenda Bryant; siblings, brothers: Royal D. Swain and Calvin Bryant; sisters: LeNedra (Albert) Still, Suzette Swain, Sharon Franklin and Jennifer (Ira) Gay; the Woodville Boyz and family; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Chambers and to serve his family.
