Barbara Jean Andrews, 67, of Tallahassee passed unexpectedly on Sunday, January 5, 2025, Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, at Springhill M.B. Church, with Interment in Mt. Trial Memorial Gardens in Sopchoppy, FL. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Jacksonville, FL, Barbara enjoyed a long career in Food Service. She was a talented cook and owned a successful catering business. Some of the eateries she worked included Morrison's Cafeteria, Piccadilly's and FAMU's Cafeteria. She also cooked at Capital Regional Hospital. Survivors include her mother, Emma K. Andrews; daughters: Crystal (Walter III) Hill and Lakelii (Anthony) Knight; sons: Errick (Romeaka) Spradley, Derrick Spradley and Roderick Jenkins, Jr.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, James Cherry, Jr.; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
