Benny Lee "Beno" Parrish, 76, of Tallahassee passed on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, at New Salem M.B. Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850942-1950). Mr. Parrish was a self-made man who retired after 30 years of service with the Florida Department of Agricultural and Consumer Services. He was one of 16 siblings, of which only one now survives. Beno was a great mechanic who loved auto racing. Survivors include his daughter, Voncile L. Parrish; son, Brison Williams; brother, Charles (Gwenith) Parrish; granddaughters-caregivers: Artica Robbs, Antriniqua Ivey and Aubreyana Troutman; sister-in-law, Harriet Parrish; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
