Mother Bessie Lee Donaldson, 94, of Crawfordville, FL passed at home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 17, 2025. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Mt. Olive P.B. Church # 1, Crawfordville, with Interment in the Church Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mother Donaldson had been a seafood processor, restaurant cook and homemaker. She was gifted at knitting, crocheting and solving puzzles. A longtime member of Mt. Olive, she had served as a church mother. Survivors include her children: Sandra Thomas (Thomas) and George (Leslie) Thomas; daughter-in-law, Martha Thomas; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Daisy Webster, Gloria Turner and Eddie Mae Jackson; and a host of other relatives and loving friends. Among those preceding her in death were her two sons, Harold and Bobby Thomas.
