Betty Joyce Moore , affectionately known as "Betty Mo" , graced the world with her presence on February 14, 1951. She was the eldest child of Myrtle Mae Smith.

Betty was educated in Gadsden County School System and attended Carter-Parramore High School. She was known for her culinary gifts and faithfully served as a Dietician Cook for over 36 years. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished member of her community, Betty touched many lives. Those both near and far were blessed by her hands and she prepared delicious meals and desserts.

Betty married the love of her life, Mr. Willie Moore, with whom she shared 24 devoted years before he preceded her in death.

Betty confessed Jesus at an early age and was baptized at St. Mark Primitive Baptist Church in Shiloh, Florida. She lived a life rooted in love, strength, and devotion to her family. Known for her warm spirit, kind heart, and unwavering support, Betty was a constant source of love and encouragement to all who knew her.

On March 12, 2026, God called Betty's name, and she peacefully answered. She leaves to cherish her memory, her five children: Michael Outley, Sylvia (Warren) Brown, Joyce Moore, William (Ellise) Moore, Jr., and LaNandra (Charles) Moore-Stafford; twelve grandchildren: Michael, Tavarsay, Jasquita, Adrianna, Kierra, Michael Shae, Ah'rianna, Veronicka, Myisha, Marlon, William and Elizabeth, and a host of great -grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved sister: Mary Poole; along with extended family and friends who will deeply miss her presence. Betty's legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched with her compassion, wisdom, and grace.

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Moore and to serve the Moore Family.
