Brenda Shirlene Perry Johnson, 58, of Tallahassee, FL passed on Friday, June 13, 2025. Funeral services are 12 noon Saturday, June 28, at Tabernacle M.B. Church, with interment in Southside Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Shirlene attended Leon County Schools, lastly Godby High. She was a retired Dormitory Custodian with FSU Student Housing. She was an avid football fan and a die-hard Seminole. Survivors include her husband, Booker Johnson; son, Wilbur "Lil Pete" Peterson; mother, Julia Mae Perry; brothers: Brent Perry and Nero Frances; aunts: Mrs. Ruthie Lee Leon and Mrs. Alberta P. Griffin; caregiver and special cousin, Shada (Shadrick) Penny; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
