Obituary

It is with loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Brother Thomas Glenn, 95, of Monticello's Waukeenah Community on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

Mr. Glenn largely worked for one employer, El Destino Plantation, for over 60 years where he served as a caretaker, courier and groundskeeper. At St. Phillip AME Church (Monticello), he served as a Steward, Trustee, Finance Committeeman, and member of the Sons of Allen. He was also a member of the Sons & Daughters of Joshua, Lodges 5 & 10. Survivors include his loving daughter, Deborah Denise Glenn; grandson, Daniel Johansen (Felisa) Nealy; grand godson, Cory Crawford; sisters: Florence (Paul) Joseph and Thelma Ganey; brother, Morris "Talley" Glenn; sisters-in-law, Bernice Vaughn and Louise King; and numerous other family and friends, including his El Destino Plantation family.

Viewing-visitation will be held from 4:00PM-6:00PM, Friday, November 14, 2025, at St. Phillip AME Church (Monticello).

Funeral Services for Brother Thomas Glenn will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at St. Phillip AME Church (Monticello) with Interment Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Mt. Ararat AME Church Cemetery, 167 Floyd Allen Road, Monticello, FL 32344.

It has been our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Brother Glenn and to serve the Glenn Family.

We salute Brother Glenn by simple saying, " Servant of God, Well Done!".
