Bruce Wendell "John Shaft" Sanders, 65, of Havana, FL passed in Pembroke Pines, FL on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Funeral services are 12 noon Saturday, December 9, at New Jerusalem M.B. Church, with burial in Barber Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Bruce was a 1976 graduate of Northside High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include his son, Ronterious Sanders; daughter, Erica Williams; 2 grandchildren; sisters: Rebecca and Marsha Sanders; brother, Otis (Christine) Pease; and a host of other relatives and friends.
