Cain "Kite" Kyler, Sr., 72, of Monticello's Lloyd Cemetery passed on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, at St. Rilla M.B. Church, with burial in Springfield Cemetery, both in Lloyd, FL. Born in Jefferson County, Cain attended the County's public schools. He was a talented farmer who loved raising watermelons and cattle. Cain served as a member of St. Rilla and enjoyed fishing during his leisure time. He leaves his love and legacy to his devoted wife of 52 years, Mae Eva Williams Kyler; sons: Cain (Irene) Kyler, Jr. and James (Genna) Coasey; daughter, Tawana (Harry) James; 5 grandchildren; sisters: Shirley, Josephine, Emma (James), Henrietta and Allene; brothers: Jeff, Johnny B., Willie and Jimmy; godson, Johnny Merritt; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
