Respectfully, we announce the passing of Mr. Calvin Bernard King , 35, of Tallahassee.

Services for Mr. King will be 11:00AM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church (TS Green Road) with Interment in the Old Union Cemetery (Monticello).

Viewing-visitation will be 4:00PM-6:00PM, Friday, December 5, 2025, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950) .

CALVIN BERNARD KING was the son of Edwin Howard King, Sr. and Gloria Jean Mills. Calvin was born in Tallahassee, Florida on March 25, 1990. Both of his parents preceded him in death.

CALVIN'S mother passed when he was just four years old. He was then raised by his father and his paternal grandmother. Calvin attended the public schools of Leon County, For high school, he attended Rickards High before transitioning to Life Skills. Growing up, CALVIN was taught the value of honesty and hard work. While in school, he and his siblings worked with their father, cleaning buildings at night. He then entered the workforce full-time and worked several years with his uncle, Frank Mills, Jr., in roofing. He later worked in construction before beginning a career in yard care.

CALVIN recognized the need to be anchored in the Lord. He confessed Christ at a young age and joined Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. At church, he sang as a member of the choir.

In his leisure time, CALVIN loved running, dancing, football, joking and sports in general. He had a one-of-a-kind laugh that was unique only to him.

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, CALVIN BERNARD KING finished his earthly course and went Home to be with the Lord. His love and legacy will rest forever in the hearts of his sisters: Shanice Johnson and Alisea King; brother: Edwin Howard King, Jr.; paternal grandmother: Martha King; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

It is our profound honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. King and to serve the King Family.
