It is with utmost respect, we announce the passing of Mr. Calvin B. Thomas , 56, of Midway, Florida, who departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Viewing-visitation for Mr. Calvin B. Thomas will be 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950) .

Homegoing Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL.

CALVIN BERNARD THOMAS was born on September 14, 1969, in Tallahassee, Florida to Ulysses and Sadie Mae Williams Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Deborah Ann Thomas; and brother: Cassius Earl Thomas, Sr.

CALVIN attended the public schools of Leon County. His spiritual life began at Jacob Chapel Baptist Church where he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. CALVIN was employed with Waste Pro in Midway, Florida.

BERNARD, as CALVIN was affectionately known by his family and friends, enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed watching sports and listening to music and dancing.

On Monday, January 19, 2026, CALVIN BERNARD THOMAS was called Home for his final rest. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his son: Tyrell McClern; daughter: Calvonia Mersaddie Thomas; two grandchildren; siblings: Reverend Winston (Reverend Bernice) Keaton, Eula Thomas, Toney (Mary) Thomas, Sr. and Jacqueline Thomas (Isaac) Fountain; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
