With sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Carl N. Johnson, 67, who departed this earthly life on Thursday, August 20, 2026. 

Carl was born in Jacksonville, Florida, to Rev. J.W. Johnson (former Pastor of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church) and Nobie H. Johnson, both of whom preceded him in death. He had one brother, Jesse N. Johnson, who also preceded him in death.

Carl was a veteran and served in the United States Army. He was funny, well-liked, enjoyed music and cars, and had a smile that could light up a room. 

Carl leaves to mourn a daughter, Karla, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
