Carol Ann Ford Dawson, 67, of Tallahassee passed unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 31, 2025. Funeral services are 12:00 noon Saturday, April 12, at Jacob Chapel Baptist Church, with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mrs. Dawson was retired from the Florida Department of Financial Services. She also was a retired Dillard's Sales Associate. She was a Certified Cosmetologist and a devoted caregiver and homemaker. Carol was truly devoted to her family, including her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her sons: Brandon Dawson and Trenton (Shontavia) Rollins; grandchildren: Tyson and Tristan Rollins; sisters: Brenda Bryant and Loretha Ford; brothers: Emmitt Ford, Jr., Jesse Murphy, Tammy Patterson, Jr. and Willie Bolden; and a host of other relatives and friends. Carol's daughter, Alicia Dawson and son, Corey Dawson both preceded her in death.
