Obituary

Respectfully, we announce the passing of Mr. Charles Rollins , J r. , 69, of Tallahassee, FL.

Memorial Services for Mr. Rollins will be 3:00PM, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950) .

CHARLES ROLLINS, JR. was born February 27, 1956, to Charles Rollins, Sr. and Mary Anderson Rollins. God smiled on CHARLES with many talents. He loved his family above anything else. He cherished each of his eight (8) children. He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, and everyone's favorite uncle, and loyal to his family.

CHARLES was a practical jokester and always spoke with a use words and riddles that would have everyone smiling and laughing. He worked hard and loved building things. His worn and rugged hands reflected his hard work. He was a carpenter and could build anything. Before he became incapacitated, he would do a long day of work as a builder and fix problems that occurred with family and friends in the Tallahassee community. From loading down his truck to move us all from A to B, visiting his uncle (Jack), to telling us all how it's going be. He passed his talents to all his children, as they are all talented. He always had a slogan, "you can play with me, but not my money". He never took any wrongdoing without calling it out. His journey on earth was incredible, a giver without questioning. He stood by his children without doubt. Never quick to judge.

CHARLES was loving, caring, and supportive throughout his journey of life and gave unconditionally to whoever was in need. This man was one of the most unselfish guys that ever walked on earth.

CHARLES took God's hands and left this physical world surrounded by his children and family, who were there 24/7, sharing memories of his jokester ways, manly man stories, what he built and how much he was loved. He left behind his wife, Gracie; children: Charles (Chaquita) Curtis, Chris (Alicia), Casey, Calvin, Sharon, Sandra and Stephanie; brothers and sisters: Delors Anderson (deceased), Leola Brown (deceased), Shirley Roberts, Cathy Stays, Robert Jackson (deceased), Archie Rollins and Willie Rollins; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

It is our profound honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Rollins and to serve the Rollins Family.
