Colonel Ronnie Gentle, 68, of Tallahassee finished his earthly course on Monday, April 29, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, at New Salem M.B. Church, with burial at 2:00 p.m. in the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 3-5 p.m. Sunday, May 12, at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Monticello, Ronnie grew up in Tampa, FL. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in honorable active status from 1979-1985. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Prophet Gentle; sons: Gentry (Nikki) Sparks, Donnie and Ronnie Gentle; daughters: Katriena G. (Roderick) Marshall, Rhonda and Coletha Gentry; grandchildren: Destiny and Gentry; sisters: Darylene (Felix) Proctor and Kimberly (James) Wilson; brothers: Willie (Louise) and Vincent Gentle; and a host of other family members and friends.
