Corey Alexander Dawson, 47, of Tallahassee unexpectedly passed at home on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Pilgrim Rest P.B. Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Fayetteville (Ft. Bragg), NC, Corey was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He was a graduate of Gretchen Everhart School. Corey loved music and watching westerns, especially "Gunsmoke." Survivors include his devoted mother, Carol Ann Ford Dawson and brothers, Brandon (Tawanna) Dawson and Trenton (Shontavia) Rollins; along with several other loving relatives and friends. Corey's father, Michael Dawson and his sister, Alicia Dawson, both preceded him in death.
