Curtis Alonzo Jefferson, 59, of Tallahassee passed on Sunday, August 25, 2024. The service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, at Mt. Horeb P.B. Church, with burial in Clifford Hill Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mr. Jefferson had worked in Grounds with the State of Florida and City of Tallahassee. He was a sports enthusiast and coached Little League and Flag Football for many years. He was a 1984 Godby High graduate. He is survived by his wife, LaShonda C. Jefferson; children: Michael Gardner, Shunta (Jerome) Williams, Antron Jefferson, Jaccori Mitchell and Alexis Jefferson; seven grandchildren; stepchildren: Taje Baker, Layla Cruz and Aria Toombs; mother, Dorothy Thomas Pleas; siblings: Marvin (LaShondra) Jefferson, Sr., Tony (Anita) Jefferson and Tyease J.(Harvey) Dawkins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
