Darvaunta Dominique Vaughn, 40, of Tallahassee passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Funeral Services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, at Greater St. Mark P.B. Church, with Interment in the Church Cemetery. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A Tallahassee native, "Vaunta" was a talented self-employed mechanic, who worked on vehicles, as well as small engines. He also loved dogs. Survivors include the apple of his eye, his seven-year-old daughter, Daryanni Vaughn; bonus daughter, Ashantie Miller; father, Darryl Vaughn; aunt who raised him, Cassandra (Thomas) McMahon; sisters: Sandashia Thompson, Darriele, Darrion and Shyann Vaughn; brother, Darryl Vaughn, Jr.; grandmother, Barbara Jean Vaughn; grandfather, Sidney Thompson; godmother, Emma Leland; and a host of other aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
