It is with utmost respect, we announce the passing of Mr. David D. Snoddy , age 64, who departed this earthly life on Monday, April 6, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950) .

David Dewayne Snoddy was born January 23, 1962, to David S. Snyder and Patricia Snoddy Webb, both of Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by both of his daughter: Tiffany Townsend; son: Enrico Townsend, both of Birmingham, Alabama; parents; and sister: Pamela Moultrie of Gwinnett, Georgia.

David's formal education was attained in the Birmingham, Alabama public school system. Upon graduation, he enlisted into the United States Navy where he earned a purple heart upon dismissal. He had a CDL and several certificates in multiple trades. David was a fun-loving man who could put a smile on everyone's face he encountered. He loved to travel and he loved education. He obtained 10+ certifications in various trades.

David leaves to cherish precious memories to his wife: Valerie Snoddy; daughter: Davida Willis; son: Byron Willis; brother: Reginald Snyder; and a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Snoddy and to serve the Snoddy Family.
