Deacon Jimmie Lee Danalds, Sr., 84, of Tallahassee finished his earthly course on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church, Gibson Sawmill Road, Havana. Burial will follow in the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Monday (Today) at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). A native of Amsterdam, GA, Deacon Danalds attended the public schools of Decatur County and was a twice-enlisted disabled U.S. Army Veteran. He lived many years in Rochester, NY where he was an entrepreneur. He was a devoted Deacon at Pilgrim Rest. Survivors include his wife, Ofelina Taylor Danalds; sons: Jimmie Lee Jr. and Mark Anthony Danalds; daughters: Sharon and Stacey Danalds and Nadine Chambers; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
