Deaconess Brenda Joyce Farmer was born on July 3, 1961, to Willie Farmer, Sr. and Mother Beulah Mae Huggins Farmer. Both of her parents preceded her in death.
Brenda attended the public schools of Jefferson County where she graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1979. Following graduation, she attended Tallahassee Community College (TCC) where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Development.
Brenda accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Casa Bianca Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the Choir and was one of the Sunday school teachers. She later joined Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and later returned back to her home church, Casa Bianca Missionary Baptist Church. Brenda moved from Monticello to Tallahassee, Florida in 2009 after her sons graduated from high school. She remained a faithful member of Casa Bianca.
Life placed Brenda into some struggles and difficult times, but she continued to fight on even when she felt like she was losing the battle. She kept the faith. While at the hospital, some of her last words were, "I'm not worried, I'll be OK!"
On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Deaconess Brenda Joyce Farmer answered the Master's call. She is now resting in her Savior's arms.
