Donquail Nathaniel Davis, 29, of Tallahassee, FL, passed on Friday, January 10, 2025. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, in the Old West Enrichment Center, with Interment in Midway Community Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Donquail, affectionately known as "DQ", grew up in Quincy's Greensboro Community. He played Varsity football at West Gadsden High School. He had been a Security Guard and member of St. Mary M.B. Church. His love and legacy will live forever in the hearts of his mother, Tina James; stepmother, Valerie Davis; brothers: Travis Davis, Shawntavious Sykes and Cedric Davis, Jr.; stepbrothers: Sheldon Brown, Justin Martin and DeVonta Holton; sisters: Ashley and Destiny Davis; stepsister, Courtney Combs; grandmother, Lear Russ; step grandfather, Joe Gary Perry; aunts: Ewanya James, Tonya Harris, Felecia James, Fredia Godwin and Dominique Perry; uncles: Al Douglas Parker, John Sr., Canaveral, Gradis Jr., Frank and Bishop Clint James; devoted companion, Alexis Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
