Doris Chambers, 92, of Tallahassee finished her earthly course on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Watson Temple Institutional COGIC, with burial in Springfield Cemetery, Marianna on Sunday, January 21. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at the Church. Born in Blakely, GA, Mrs. Chambers was a longtime Tallahassee resident and faithful member of Watson Temple. Survivors include her husband, James Chambers; children: Jackie (Alice), Kirk (Teri), Michael (Regina), Terry, Caroline (Matthew) Harrell and Gregory (Bridgett) Chambers; 11 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Watkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
