It is with loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Feacher , age 67, of Monticello, Florida, who departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Viewing-visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2026, at Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 690 Cypress Street, Monticello, FL 32344.

Homegoing Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, with the Interment to follow in Texas Hill Cemetery, N Jefferson Street, Monticello, FL 32344.

Dorothy "Dot" Barnes Feacher was born on May 22, 1958, to Marie Bell Barnes and Clyde Ferguson and was lovingly raised by her stepfather, Robert Barnes, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents: Marie Bell Barnes and Clyde Ferguson; stepfather: Robert Barnes, Sr.; brothers: Robert Barnes, Clarence Ferguson, Clifford Ferguson, Jake Ferguson, and George Rivers; and sisters: Lillie Mae Daniels, Suddie Barnes, Dorothy Ferguson, and Katherine Jinks.

Dorothy was educated in the public schools of Jefferson County. She accepted Christ at an early age and remained a member of Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello until her passing. She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and her willingness to help others whenever she could. Dorothy was truly a giver.

For many years, Dorothy worked as a Certified Home Health Aide with Jefferson County Senior Citizens in Monticello. Through her work, she compassionately cared for many in the community until her health no longer allowed her to continue.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of love, kindness, and service will never be forgotten.

Dorothy "Dot" Barnes Feacher, a longtime resident of Monticello, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband: Ashamel Feacher, Sr.; daughter: Shaquetta Feacher; son: Ashamel (Brittany) Feacher, Jr.; beloved grandchildren: Quintavius Feacher, Quintavia Feacher, Cason Smith, Ky'mani Feacher, Adriana Edwards, and Anbriana Guelley; brother: Alphonso (Hurbertine) Ferguson; sisters: Della Barnes and Rosetta Mitchell; godchildren: Arena (Stanley) Hill, Kenya Brantley, Azende Thompson, and E'Zhari' Troutman; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

The family would also like to recognize her devoted niece, Tametra Crumity, and her husband, Michael Crumity, who lovingly served as her caregivers and faithfully cared for her until her untimely passing. Though she has departed this life, Dorothy's love, compassion, and the many lives she touched will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Feacher and to serve the Feacher Family.
