Dorothy Marie Kennedy Barnes, 78, of Tallahassee passed on Friday, September 9, 2023. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Old West Enrichment Center, with burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Woodville. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850942-1950). Mrs. Barnes was retired from TMH as a Geriatric Rehab CNA. She was a member of Greater Mt. Zion P.B. Church, where she was a Choir member and former Church Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter, Tamika Kennedy; grandson, USAF Senior Airman Amari Walker; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her only sibling, her sister, Christine White preceded her in death.
