Earnest Johnson, Jr., 69, of Midway passed on Friday, January 5, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, in Midway at Everybody's Church, with burial in Midway Community Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Havana, he attended Northside High School. He had been a professional roofer and mechanic and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include his children: Earnest Johnson III and Jasmine Johnson; five grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Estella Sinclaire Johnson; siblings: Debra (John) Scurry, Carolyn (Luther) Albert, Patricia (Alonzo) Brown, Geraldine (Victor Sr.) Moore, Dorothy (Darrell) Ashby, Anita (Elijah) Thomas, Larry (Regina), Robert (Ella), Alfonzo and Maurice Johnson; his longtime companion, Patricia Conley; and countless other relatives and friends.
