Monticello, FL - Eddie D. Hill, 86, of Monticello, FL passed on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 in Texas Hill Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Sunday at 1215 North Jefferson Street, Monticello. TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553) is serving the Hill family. A Jefferson County native, Mr. Hill had lived in New York City for more than 55 years before retiring and returning home. He had worked in construction and was proud to have helped build the New York World's Fair. He was a member of the Huntington Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Helen Thomas Hill; sons: Eddie (Patricia) Hill, Jr. and Bruce (Nikki) Hill; daughter, Linda Hill; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Lonnie (Tequilla) Hill and a host of other relatives and friends.
