Elder John Albert Johnson, Sr., 84, finished his earthly course on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Homegoing services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at River of Life Church, with burial in St. Peter Community Cemetery. Viewing is 5-7 p.m. Friday at Miracle Deliverance Temple. Born in Colquitt, GA, Elder Johnson moved to Florida as a teenager. He was a retired Truck Driver for McKenzie Tank Lines (43 years) and a devout Christian, serving at Spirit and Truth Christian Fellowship. A talented mechanic, he could fix almost anything. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mother Christine S. Johnson; children: John Jr. (Josette), Jeffery (Patricia), Ray Sr. (Maletta), Keith Sr. (Annie), D'Bora, Jana (Keith Sr.), Evelyn (Ernest), Adrian and Tamika (LaMonta Sr.); 88 grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren; siblings: Troy Jr., William Sr., Andy, Dandy, Allene, Mary, Mildred (Johnny) and Jennie (Robin); and countless nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
