Elnora Anderson Dickey, 82, of Tallahassee, FL, passed on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at New Hickory Hill P.B. Church, with Interment in the Church Cemetery. There will be no public viewing. A lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Mrs. Dickey had been a private-duty housekeeper, prior to retiring. She was a longtime member of Mt. Pisgah AME Church, Fairbanks Ferry Road, where she had served faithfully in several capacities. She was a superb cook and had written a cookbook, "How It Eat, Mane?" Survivors include her son, Eddie (Beverly McGriff) Dickey; daughters: Alicia (Bobby) Jones, Cassandra Chester, Hollie (Vince) Vickers, Karen (Gary) Harrison and Monica D, (Johnny) Nash; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Betty J. Welch and Vera Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
