Emma Lee Hampton, 82, of Tallahassee's Miccosukee Community passed at home on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10, at Concord AME Church, with burial in Concord Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). Born in Monticello and raised in eastern Leon County, Emma had been a private-duty homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Sinai M.B. Church, where she served in several capacities, including the Choir. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Lawrence; grandchildren: Rayshon (Candice) Johnson, Eureka and Tammie Bellamy and Selig Stoney; seven great-grandchildren; brothers: Harold, Ceasar, Roosevelt and Willie Lee "Bill" Hampton; sisters: Alberta McCloud, Fannie Pearson and Ollie Mae Murray; and numerous other relatives and friends.
