Enoch "Bubba" Lawrence, Jr., 77, entered his Heavenly home on Monday, October 23, 2023. Homegoing services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, at St. Phillip AME Church, Monticello, with burial at Mt. Zion AME Church Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at Mt. Zion. He spent his career as a roofer and a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Liza Ann Lawrence; children: Jennifer Lawrence, Alvin Johnson, Katherine (Herman) Herring, Ruthie Ann and Earl Williams, Jr.; siblings: Lucille, Nellie Mae, Barbara, John, Reverend Ulysses Lawrence and Louvina Scott; and countless other relatives and friends.
