Eric Alan Moton, 62, of Tallahassee passed on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950), with burial in Barrow Hill Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is Friday 4-6 p.m. at Tillman's. Born in Cincinnati, OH, Mr. Moton worked as a lineman for Florida Power and Light and was a retired groundskeeper for the City of Coral Gables. Survivors include his wife, Mable Moton; son, Dr. Brandon (Shakeil) Moton; daughters: Erika (Daren) Moton Ray and Janai (Amin) Moton-Brown; step-children: Larry Jr. and Janel Travis; grandchildren: Darryl Johnson, Jr., Khloe Robertson, Dillon Ray and Ava Brown; sisters: Glenda Moton, Deborah (Christopher) McCray and Yvonne Moton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
