Ernest Dwayne Jacob, 68, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday (Tomorrow) at Tabernacle M.B. Church, with burial at 1:00 p.m. in the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Thursday (Today) at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). "Jake" was a Civil Engineer, graduate of Florida A&M University and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked for Martin-Marietta before becoming a highly sought after Master Tile Setter. Cherishing his love are his loving mother, Margaret King; son, Erland Jacob; granddaughters: Genesis, Cherrye and Michelle Jacob; aunt, Louise A. King; and a host of first cousins, other relatives and friends.
