Ernest Alexander, Sr., 79, of Miami Gardens, FL passed on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Monticello, with burial in Alexander Family Cemetery, Greenville. TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). A native of Greenville, Mr. Alexander had lived in Miami since 1965. He had been a licensed, self-employed Barber and a retired Supervisor for Miami-Dade Metro Transit. He was a longtime Jehovah's Witness in Miami's Crestview Congregation. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Brunson Alexander; son, Ernest (Renna) Alexander II' daughters: Ingeborg (Leroy) McGee, Yvette and Iris Alexander; brothers: John and Joe Alexander; sister, Marvin (Ivory) Tillman; 5 grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
