Evelyn Marie Roberts, 83, of Crawfordville, FL, passed on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Homegoing services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, at Mt. Olive P.B. Church #2 in Crawfordville, with burial in the Church Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A lifelong resident of Wakulla County, Ms. Roberts was a devoted member of Mt. Olive. She loved playing tennis, idolizing Venus and Serena Williams. A retired State of Florida employee, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles, gospel music and cooking. Survivors include her daughters: Shirlyne (Cyrus) Everette and Angela Bryant; sons: Keith (Vertelia) Thomas and Rev. Dr. Kimball (Beatriz) Thomas; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters: Geraldine Gavin, Joyce and Diane Roberts; brothers: Kelly (Beverly) and Ray (Pinky) Roberts; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
