Flossie Virginia Gibson Smith, 60, of Thomaston, GA passed on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Memorial services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, at Life Church International. Mrs. Smith was a native of Philadelphia, PA and had been a longtime Tallahassee resident. She was a FAMU Pharmacy graduate and had worked as an Administrative Specialist with the Florida Department of Health. She was an accomplished pianist and vocalist and had served as Musician for several area churches. Survivors include her son, Milton (Kezia) Barnes; daughter, Michelle (Marquellis Bennett) Thomas; two grandchildren: Kianna and Kyan Bennett; several siblings, one who is local, Gloria (Tony) Williams; and numerous other relatives and friends.
