Frank Mitchell Howard, 86, of Monticello's Ashville Community passed on Friday, April 25, 2025. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at New Zion M.B. Church, with burial in Ashville Community Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). Mr. Howard had worked at Sherrod's Lumber before embarking on a long career with Simpson nurseries. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Survivors include his sons: William (Valencia), Robert (Yvonne) and Jimmy (Janine) Howard, Ellen (Greg) Cooley, Alacia (Kenneth) Spencer and Daphne Hardwick; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Elmer (Leola) Bellamy, Ernestine Bellamy and Liza (Nathaniel) McQuay and numerous other relatives and friends.
