Fredrick Aaron Ervin, Jr., 42, of Tallahassee passed unexpectedly on Friday, January 5, 2024. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Rockhill M.B. Church, with burial in St. Phillip Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A Leon County native, Fredrick grew up in the Wadesboro Community. He was a Groundskeeper at Florida A&M University. Survivors include his wife, Yolanda Smith Ervin; children: Fredrick Jr, Famere and Farai Ervin; parents: Aaron and Rosa Rains Ervin; siblings: Roderick, Michelle, Ossie, Charlie (Lutrelle) and Leroy Ervin and Travis Thompson; and a host of other relatives and friends. His siblings, Willie and Gloria Ervin preceded him in death.
