Mrs. Hazel Lee Gammons, 94, of Tallahassee passed on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday (Tomorrow) at Tabernacle M.B. Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Thursday (Today) at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mrs. Gammons was raised in the Chattahoochee-Sneads-Panama City area before moving to Tallahassee in 1965. A devoted member of Tabernacle, she had been the proprietor of a Janitorial Service. Survivors include her daughters: Ruby (Ponce) Young, Linda and Brenda Gammons, Gracie (Charles) Rollins and Emily Lesure; sons: Leroy Jr. and Carl (Lisa) Gammons; sister, Maurine Austin; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren;and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
