Henry Isaac Powell, 75, of Tallahassee passed on Monday, May 12, 2025. His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950). Interment will be in St. Peter Community Cemetery, Woodville. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at Tillman's. Henry was a 1967 graduate of the original Lincoln High School. He was a self-employed carpenter and landscaper. In his leisure time, he enjoyed Oldie-Goldie music and gardening. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Walker Powell; daughters: Katherine and Shaina Powell; sons: Henry Jr. and Logan Powell; five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; mother, Reverend Audry Powell; sisters: Lillie (Willie) Buggs and Linda (Leon) Johnson; brothers: Thomas (Wanda) Bryant and Theodore Knight; and numerous other relatives and friends.
