Ida Mae Keaton Wilcox, 89, of Monticello passed on Sunday, April 9, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Ministries, Capps, with burial in Byrd Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at Memorial M.B. Church, Monticello. Mrs. Wilcox was a Howard Academy graduate where she was voted Miss Howard Academy during her senior year in 1952. She had been a nurse and the owner of Ida's Country Kitchen, Pompano Beach, FL. She was a faithful member of Monticello's Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include her sons: Reginald and Michael McCloud and Eric Wilcox; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Liza Mae (Sam Jr.) Jones and numerous other relatives and friends.
