Jahmerall Jerger, who was lovingly known as “JJ”, was born in Tallahassee, Florida on November 13, 1983, to Kenneth Jerger and Pamela Austin. He was preceded in death by his loving mother whom he cherished and missed dearly and his grandparents: Pearl Austin and Albert and Thelma Jerger.

“JJ” grew up in Leon County. He attended Killearn Lakes Elementary School, Deerlake Middle School and Leon High School, graduating in the Class of 2002. He then went onto college at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California where he played football and met the love of his life. He later returned home where he began his career at Safelite Autoglass in 2005 (21 years of employment).

“JJ” loved good music, cars (old school), and spending time with his family. His girls and nephews were his pure joy. He was always the protector of the family.

On Thursday, June 4, 2026, Jahmerall “JJ” Jerger went Home to be with his Lord and Savior and his mother. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his spouse: Shatara; two daughters: Kayla Janai Jerger and Jada Kailyn Jerger; father: Kenneth (Gwen) Jerger; sisters: Relanda (Joseph Jr.) Glenn and T’Anna James; stepsister: Lashaunda Bell-Wright; nephew: Joseph Glenn III; stepbrother: Curt Miller; godbrother: Marquise Williams; best friends: Kelvin Chambers, Keith Green and Justin Reed; special friends: Marcus Hackney and Hillary Maers; along with a host of other relatives and loving friends.
