James Glover, Jr., 58, of Tallahassee passed on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the 1200 Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Church, one hour prior to the funeral. Born in Perrine, FL, Mr. Glover was a graduate of Miami's Northwestern Senior High School. He graduated from Florida A&M University and was employed by USF, housed at the Florida Department of Education, as a Title III, Part A Federal Specialist. He was an avid reader and tennis player, who loved working out. Survivors include his devoted wife, Vanessa Session Glover; daughters: Destiny and Mahogany Glover; mother, Joan Chester Davis; sister, Gloria Wilcox; his 1200 Church Family; and several other relatives and friends.
