James Stanford Neal, 52, of Crawfordville, FL passed on Friday, January 5, 2024. A Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, at Laura Street Church of Christ, 1310 E. Laura St., Plant City, FL 33563, with a Meet and Greet Session at 10:00 a.m. Born in Tampa where he was a 1990 graduate of Armwood High School, James earned his Associate degree from TCC. He worked as an Officer with the Travis County Police Department, Austin, TX. His passion, however, was coaching youth football. He was the Founder-President of the Big Bend Youth Football Association and had coached the Tallahassee Longhorns and the Tallahassee Warriors. Survivors include his wife, Lizetta Williams Neal; children: Cornelius T., Jordan S. and Celeste Neal and La'Ronica Hill; mother, Mattie Ruth Sinclair Neal; siblings: Kelvin (Ramona) Neal, Marcus (Rachel) Manuel, Charles (Mandy) and Ericked Brown.
