Janet McCray Smith, 72, a native of Jacksonville, passed on Friday, August 11, 2023. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, at Greater Harvest Christian Center, with viewing-visitation from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Church. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, in Jacksonville National Cemetery. J.E. Fralin & Sons (904-924-9400) is serving the family. Mrs. Smith was a retired UPS Supervisor. Survivors include her son, Michael (Katina); four grandchildren; siblings: Wanda (David Sr.) Martin, Solomon and Kevin (Mary) McCray and several other relatives and friends.
